Preparation for making a Virtual Retreat
Monday, November 23, 2009 by Fr. Santo Arrigo C.Ss.R.

Depending upon your schedule, it will be important to spend some quality time reflecting on the material presented in this virtual retreat. As you see, there are 9 sessions that will lead you through your reflections. Each session may be done in one sitting, or you may choose to spend more time in one sitting with a number of sessions. The choice is yours. Remember, go at your own pace.

It will be helpful for you to have the following items before you as to spend time in prayer, especially during this virtual retreat.

  • Bible
  • Candle
  • Reflective Music
  • Crucifix
  • Prayer Journal

Prayer of Anselm of Canterbury

O God, teach my heart where and how to seek you, where and how to find you…

You are my God and I have never seen you.
You have made me and remade me, and you have bestowed on me all the good things I possess, and still I do not know you….

Teach me to seek you… For I cannot seek you unless you teach me or find you unless you show yourself to me.
